ROYALS’ BRANDON MAGEE NAMED TIP TOP TAILOR-MADE PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER
Assistant captain records nine points in the month.

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are pleased to announce that forward Brandon Magee has been selected as the Tip Top Tailor-Made Player of the Month for December.

The 18-year-old recorded nine points (2g-7a) over eight games during December.  Magee scored one game-winning and one game-tying goal in the month as well as a three-point performance on December 28th versus the Prince George Cougars. The Edmonton, AB native now has 28 points (14g-14a) so far in the 2012-13 WHL regular season.

“Brandon had a good month for us,” General Manager Cameron Hope said. “He is a leader on our team and competes hard each and every game.”

Magee currently sits fifth in team scoring and is also tied for the league-lead in goals scored to open a game with six. It was also a milestone month for the Royals forward as he recorded his 100th WHL point on December 28th. Drafted by the Chilliwack Bruins in the fourth round of the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft, Magee has notched 104 points (49g-55a) so far in his career.
